Rocket Launch

This semester a group of actives and alumni decided to build a rocket to get certified for our class one high powered rocketry license. They attended the launch on Oct.24th and built their rocket on site. On the second day, even with minor setbacks, they launched their rocket and achieved a height of around 3000 ft. There was a minor malfunction with the parachute but eventually it deployed for an almost perfect launch. It was a blast watching more than 400 rocket launches. In the end we walked away from the launch with our class 1 certification and much more knowledge of high powered rocketry. The event was tons of fun so please attend next time you wont regret it.
